1. having a job that you enjoy but you don't get paid as much.
2. having a job that you get highly paid but you dislike.

which one do you choose?

i would have chosen 2 in the past.
i used to care about only money,

i know this guy in starhub.. eh wait, he's no longer there already, he quit the job after one week.
he's called daniel lim, from TP biz school.
he's very talented in talking, we seen his abilities during training when our trainer nina put us into roleplay.
he and another guy jiongrui (let's call him JR) were the best at talking and selling stuffs.
a few days ago when i talked to daniel lim, he showed me his text to nina that he wanted to quit the job.
now, both these two most talented people have ignored the contract and left the company.

for this post daniel means daniel lim not our daniel alexander the gpa four.

oh they were both handling starhub inbound calls.
daniel told me that we were only trained to handle sales, not general enquiries, provisioning, complaints etc.
not one even taught him to do those stuff and he had to walk around to ask people five six times per call.
the few of us were stunned when he told us he wanted to leave the company, but he told me he's got a job already from an advertising company, full commission pay.
he said he cant learn anything from that company.
he joined the company to learn and apply the marketing skills he learnt in TP.
he joined the company thinking it was about sales and marketing, so that he can learn what want and is interested in.

his main purpose wasn't to earn money.
i bet JR left the company also because he cant learn what he wanted to.

i guess i should do that too?
i care too much about money last time.
i joined ams because i didnt wanna waste my L1R4, and thought airline business can earn lots of money.

for now, i wanna learn more about music production though.
i can't write songs or sing, but im interested in helping to produce songs, but it seems so hard to enter that circle.
ultimately im more interested in music, all kinds not just rock.

im pretty astonished at their courage of facing that $1k fine for leaving the company while under contract.
